Website privacy notice
How this website handles information, and where to find the privacy notice that covers your care.
Two different notices
This notice explains what happens when you visit this website. The privacy of your health information as a patient is covered separately by our Notice of Privacy Practices, which is provided to every family at intake, is available in the patient portal, and can be requested at any time by email.
What this website collects
Nothing, directly. This website has no cookies, no analytics, no advertising or tracking code, no social-media widgets, and no forms that send information to us. Reading these pages does not create any record with the practice.
What happens in the background
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard connection data (such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Fonts. The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser requests font files from Google, which may receive your IP address. Google states it does not use these requests for advertising or profiling; see Google Fonts privacy.
Requesting an appointment
Appointment requests are handled through SimplePractice, a HIPAA-compliant practice-management platform that works with the practice under a Business Associate Agreement. When you follow the request link, you leave this website. Information you enter there is protected health information, held in the practice’s secure record, and governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices and SimplePractice’s privacy policy.
Email to the practice is for general, non-clinical questions. Email is not a secure channel for health information and is not monitored continuously, so please do not send medical details and do not use email for urgent matters. Current patients should use the patient portal.
Children
This website is written for parents, guardians, and referring professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children through this site, and children under 13 should not submit information to the practice online.
Links to other sites
Links to outside websites (such as 988lifeline.org) are provided for convenience. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
